I’d of course like to thank Honjii as well as the following:

–A group of small furry animals gathered together in a cave grooving to a pict.

–The Fondue Fop House, without your hot bowls of creamy cheese to “pick me up” I may have never stayed awake to accept this award.  Many people underestimate the need for a viscus bowl of melted Cheddar and a mouth full of second degree burns, but never the staff at the Fop House.

–The drifter I killed outside of Ft. Worth Texas, without taking you down a peg, I may have never had the confidence to begin writing.

–And my wife, kids and dog.

My apologies to the faithful and friendly that happen upon this little spot on the interweb from time to time, I thank you and your ‘Series of Tubes’ for bringing you here as usual….  (this link is a PERFECT audio representation of what happens with Alaskan Representation in Washington, Mrs. Palin must have gone to this guy for public speaking advice)

Been a busy couple of weeks as I’ve been looking for another IT contract, then of course the wonderful tanking of the market….  It’s really interesting to watch a spouse as one’s investments ‘dwindle’ due to the current fiduciary mis-management we call the ‘Bush Administration’….  aka ‘The Work of a TRUE Dick’….  I prefer to look at it as a time for me to buy MORE of my favorite stocks at a BARGAIN RATE….  It sucks but eventually it will go back up and if you’ve got the cash to ‘put in’ now do it, in 5 to 8 years it will pay off!!!….  You have to sort of ‘breath with’ the stock market Daniel-san….

But never fear A NEW GIG IS HERE!!!….  So I got a new gig that looks to be permanent and close to the domicile so all is going well NOW….  So I get to enjoy this week till I start on the 20th with nothing to do but ENJOY and relax…. Ahhhhh, now doesn’t that feel better!

So I’ll probably be trying to do a couple of Open Mike Nights this week at the usual places listed in my “Stuff I Like” section….  If your in the Bay Area this week come on down and check it out!…

Don’t ‘blog angry’ folks, find and feel your ki….  I feel somewhat repentant for a recent exchange….

But then again I really don’t…  I mean Mr. Thorn’s 2nd post just started off with an inflammatory statement meant to elicit an emotional response….  Unfortunately, for him, I hold the microphone here and he caught me ‘in a mood’…  He could be a really great guy, who knows?…  The people who see him day to day and face to face, just like the rest of us…

Just for future edification, when I reply in bold as I did to this gentleman’s first posted comment, it doesn’t mean I’m angry…  I’m just distinguishing my response from your comment….

I wasn’t even annoyed at his first comment, I was just trying to lead him to another joke which already had links to the facts and ideas I was citing… But I guess when he decided to be confrontational in his first sentence of his second comment, that damned Ranger training reflex kicked in….  ‘Crush throat, recon situation later’….

I’m just not going to research and post the same links to the same facts multiple times, I have a day job…  I’m just lucky that I get to do it from home for the most part…  But I also figure you folks out there’s time is just as valuable as mine!!!!

So that’s why I link stuff that I’ve already written about previously, to give you the entire process of the particular thought I may be writing about, especially for new readers who don’t realize I have expressed a thought about the issue earlier…..

I figure if your interested enough to comment, your interested enough to make sure you have all the facts, but I’m a nut that way…
